The title race is alive and kicking

A turbulent week for the premier league has seen the title race blown wide open, cemented Kenny Dalglish's position as God at Liverpool and further exposed the likelihood of a late season collapse at Manchester United.

Not only that, the momentum will shift into the hands of The Gunners, and Manchester United's charge towards premier league glory will reduced to a battling crawl.

The race for forth place and Champions League qualification is hotting up as well. With Chelsea in a variable vein of form, Man City neither here nor their, Tottenham unable to string results together and Liverpool on a Dalglish-fuelled rampage, the top four places are going to be hotly contested over the next few weeks.
After Arsenal could only muster a draw Sunderland, Ferguson had an opportunity to extend is lead at the top of the table. But as his side slumped to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of a Dirk Kuyt hat trick, hopes quickly turned into fears. If Arsenal win their game in hand, Arsenal and Manchester United will be tied in the race to the finishing line on the 22nd of May.
