The title race is alive and kicking

A turbulent week for the premier league has seen the title race blown wide open, cemented Kenny Dalglish's position as God at Liverpool and further exposed the likelihood of a late season collapse at Manchester United.

Not only that, the momentum will shift into the hands of The Gunners, and Manchester United's charge towards premier league glory will reduced to a battling crawl.

The race for forth place and Champions League qualification is hotting up as well. With Chelsea in a variable vein of form, Man City neither here nor their, Tottenham unable to string results together and Liverpool on a Dalglish-fuelled rampage, the top four places are going to be hotly contested over the next few weeks.

After Arsenal could only muster a draw Sunderland, Ferguson had an opportunity to extend is lead at the top of the table. But as his side slumped to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of a Dirk Kuyt hat trick, hopes quickly turned into fears.
